What support does a Doula provide?
As a Certified Professional Doula (CPD) I provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support for pregnancy, birth, and the immediate postpartum period and transition to home. I tailor care to meet each family’s needs and requests.
I provide one-on-one support utilizing various comfort measures and relaxation techniques to bring a calm birthing environment. I help the family understand their options and encourage positive communication with their healthcare team. My goal is to help you have the birth that you want to have.
